Event Description:
The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the 50th Miss Tomball Pageant on Saturday, November 19th. Miss Sonia Azad, award winning journalist, formerly with KTRK-TV and new health/medical reporter with ABC affiliate WFAA-TV in Dallas, will host this special 51st year tradition as the master of ceremonies.
The annual event will begin at 7 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in their highly acclaimed performing arts and worship center.
At the top of the evening contestants will take the stage in an upbeat pageant march and will later be presented on stage in evening attire. Contestants will be judged by out-of-town judges on the basis of poise, personality and beauty. Ten semi-finalists will be chosen and five finalists will be awarded trophies in addition to other prizes and gifts. After the judges’ decision, the 2017 Miss Tomball will be crowned by reigning 2016 Miss Hanna Carroll and will be awarded a college scholarship.
