It is certainly fortuitous that we have a Law Enforcement professional as our featured speaker following National Police Week. This month's meeting will feature guest speaker Mark Herman, Assistant Chief at the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. During his 29 years in law enforcement, Assistant Chief Herman has served as patrol deputy, sergeant, lieutenant, captain and his current rank of Assistant Chief. He is responsible for 243 deputies within the central and west districts, and all toll roads within Precinct 4. Assistant Chief Herman intends to share with us ideas on what we can do to avoid, survive and recover from disasters from the perspective of law enforcement.
