Panelist: Dr. Kashif Piracha
A dual board-certified physician who is actively involved in clinical practice as an Academic Hospitalist at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. Dr. Piracha did his Internal Medicine residency from Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia from 2003-2006. He later completed subspecialty training in Nephrology from Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York from 2012-2014.
In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Piracha is also the Clerkship Director in Internal Medicine for Texas A&M College of Medicine at Methodist Willowbrook Site. In this role, his responsibilities include supervision of didactic and bedside teaching activities of medical students.
Dr. Piracha also serves on the Medical Advisory Board of Verywell Health. He is the Section Editor for the General Internal Medicine section of MedStudy’s Internal Medicine Core Curriculum. He is currently also writing a board review course in Nephrology for American Physician Institute for Advanced Professional Studies.
