Saturday, May 24th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., customers at the Tomball Market H-E-B will be invited to a free blind tasting of Gerard Bertrand's Cote des Roses and Becker Vineyards' Saigne Rose.
Representatives from both wineries will be on hand to talk about the wines and sell bottles.
This will be a friendly competition between the two wineries in honor of the 49th anniversary of the 1976 Judgement of Paris that was organized by the late Steven Spurrier.
"I think the dry rose' is one of the styles that Texas does best. It's often fruity, crisp and refreshing. A dry rose' (like Becker's) is my top choice to pair with my favorite summer dishes like shrimp tacos. Drink more Texas pink!" - Shelly Wilfong, This is Texas Wine!
