Event Description:
It is with heavy hearts that we must announce that we are cancelling Tomball Night, the Health & Wellness Expo and the Parade of Lights that were to be held on Friday, August 7th.
The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to the success of our business members and partners, as well as the local economy. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our attendees, vendors, partners, volunteers and staff, as well as the entire Tomball community. We would have loved to put on another memorable night of community togetherness, however, with the uncertainty surrounding the current situation in Texas, this decision is the only responsible solution.
Tomball Night began almost fifty years ago to offer local businesses the opportunity to stay open late while shoppers could enjoy sales. Many sales continued through the weekend. While Tomball Night has expanded since that time, with the addition of the vendor booths in the downtown Tomball area, as well as the Expo, Parade of Lights and Fireworks Finale, the focus has remained on highlighting local and small businesses while providing a family friendly atmosphere.
We encourage community members to continue supporting our local businesses, especially during these times. Our hope is that we will be able to celebrate our Tomball community at next year’s Tomball Night, which is scheduled to be held on Friday, August 6, 2021.
