Peek Into the Past: Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts

The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts invites history lovers of all ages to a historical pop-up event, “Peek Into the Past,” on Saturday, November 18. Explore local history with interactive booths hosted by the Sam Houston Heritage Society, Spring Historical Museum, San Jacinto Museum, Southern Apache Museum, American Indian Center of Houston, The American Indian Genocide Museum and more.   A pioneer trunk show will take place at 11 a.m., followed by the Apache Creation Story and Flute Performance at noon. Free historical crafts and presentations will be offered throughout the event.   This family-friendly event will build on the Pearl’s fall exhibitions, “Ode to East Texas: The Art of Lee Jamison,” and the historical illustrations of “José Cisneros: A Colorful World in Black and White.” Admission is free.
