Join us tomorrow for our Shark Awareness Day at 11:30 am, we'll have special activities for your kids!! Texas Sharks play a vital role in the oceans in a way that the average fish does not. Controls on fishing are woefully insufficient. As a result, the oceanic whitetip, porbeagle, and the smooth hammerhead are classified as vulnerable by the IUCN, while scalloped and great hammerhead sharks are classified as endangered.
