Spotlight Awaits! Playhouse 1960 Announces Summer Youth Theatre Camps
Enrollment Now Open for 2025 Season of Singing, Dancing, and Stage Magic

HOUSTON, TX — This summer, give your child the ultimate stage experience at Playhouse 1960’s Summer Youth Theatre Camps! Designed for aspiring performers ages 5–19, these dynamic two-week camps offer young actors the chance to shine on stage — with every camper guaranteed a speaking role in a fully staged production.

With programs tailored by age and experience, campers will explore acting, choreography, vocal performance, stagecraft, audition techniques, and more — all in a fun, high-energy environment led by theatre professionals.

  • Camp Rock Jr. | Ages 8–18

  • Hadestown Jr. | Ages 12–19
    June 2–20 | 5 PM – 8 PM
    Performances: June 21–22

  • Legally Blonde Jr. | Ages 9–18
